W8ODJ Repeater Information


SUMCO-ARES operates a distributed voice repeater system throughout the county. The output frequency for all systems is 444.550 and the input frequency is a standard 5 MHz positive offset at 449.550. All systems require a CTCSS (PL) tone for access. The specific PL tone information can be found in the chart below.


A new portable repeater, courtesy of WA8TT, is now available for field use when the need arises. This repeater can run on battery power or mains power (when available). The frequencies are the same as the other ARES repeaters and it's PL tone will be 118.8, as shown in the PL tone information chart below.


A backup repeater is available courtesy of N8CPI. This repeater is located in Richfield. The output frequency of this system is 442.550 with a 5 MHz positive offset input frequency of 447.550. The PL tone is 131.8.
